Proverbs 28

¹The wicked flee though no one pursues,

but the righteous are as bold as a lion.

²When a country is rebellious, it has many rulers,

but a ruler with discernment and knowledge maintains order.

³A ruler who oppresses the poor

is like a driving rain that leaves no crops.

⁴Those who forsake instruction praise the wicked,

but those who heed it resist them.

⁵Evildoers do not understand what is right,

but those who seek the Lord understand it fully.

⁶Better the poor whose walk is blameless

than the rich whose ways are perverse.

⁷A discerning son heeds instruction,

but a companion of gluttons disgraces his father.

⁸Whoever increases wealth by taking interest or profit from the poor

amasses it for another, who will be kind to the poor.

⁹If anyone turns a deaf ear to my instruction,

even their prayers are detestable.

¹⁰Whoever leads the upright along an evil path

will fall into their own trap,

but the blameless will receive a good inheritance.

Stand Firm To the End

The mysteries in the world, did anyone ever hear that said:

“the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light;

the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.” etc.?  

When you hear of wars and rumors of wars spread through all the world,

Do not be alarmed.

Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.

Jesus said, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.”(Mark 13:31)

Don’t be panic.

“Stand firm, and you will win life.”(Luke 21:19)

But a bout that day or hour no one knows,

Keep watch! Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation.

Pray for His kingdom come and His will be done,

Ask the Lord to have mercy and favor on you,

Plead your case to God for salvation, healing and redemption to set you free,

Have faith in prayer and wait for it patiently,

Lord Jesus says that He is coming soon,

The one who stands firm to the end will be saved.

Endure hardship together as we are soldiers of Jesus Christ,

Undergo hardship as you are being disciplined,

Stand strong until you have the Lord’s favor,

Let each and every one of us exert ourselves daily and long for helps from the Lord,

If you are not sure what is pleased Him,

Humble yourself to become an upright person,

Trust that the Lord knows all your expectations and will give you the best,

Rest assured to follow the plans He has prepared for you,

Eagerly hope, be on the lookout and declare that:

“Yet not what I will, but what you will.” in submitting to the Almighty God,

For, with God everything is possible and nothing is impossible,

Believe His promises and get ready to receive; with no doubt press on and keep expecting,

The abundant blessings exceedingly more than you and me know how to ask our Lord Jesus,

His words will never pass away,

Faithfully endure hardship till the end,
Love one another in unity and stand firm to the end,

Proverbs 16

¹To humans belong the plans of the heart,

but from the Lord comes the proper answer of the tongue.

²All a person’s ways seem pure to them,

but motives are weighed by the Lord.

³Commit to the Lord whatever you do,

and he will establish your plans.

⁴The Lord works out everything to its proper end—

even the wicked for a day of disaster.
