PRESS
ON
Forgive
and love each other, Let go of the past
Don’t
evoke any feelings, for we all made mistakes in the past, just forget about
them
Don’t
bewilder, distress or be misled, we’ve already had a good foundation for the future,
be zealous
Today! Let’s join together in unity and press on!
For our best is yet to come
Today!
Let’s march on by stepping forward in the path of righteousness, that one day
can be today
This
day is the day that Lord has made. Today is your day. Rejoice and press on!(Background
singing)
Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been
made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took
hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it.
But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is
ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me
heavenward in Christ Jesus.(Philippians 13:12-14)
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we
will reap a harvest if we do not give up. (Galatians 6:9,NIV) Do not let your
heart envy sinners, but always be zealous for the fear of the
LORD.(Proverbs 23:17,NIV) "…, being zealous for God just as
you all are today.(Acts 22:3,NASB,)
Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be
conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who
richly supplies us with all things to enjoy. Instruct them to do good, to be
rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, storing up for
themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future, so that they may
take hold of that which is life indeed.(1 Timothy 6:19,NASB) Romans 12:1, Romans 12:19, John 19:30,
21Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how
many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to
seven times?”22Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but
seventy-seven times. (Matthew 18:21-22)
12Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and
dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness
and patience. 13Bear with each other and forgive one another if any
of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14And
over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect
unity.15Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as
members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. 16Let
the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one
another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit,
singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. 17And whatever you do,
whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks
to God the Father through him.(Colossian 3:12-17)
Know also that wisdom
is sweet to your soul; if you find it, there is a future hope for you,
and your hope will not be cut off. (Proverbs 24:14,)
