VISION & MISSION

VISION & MISSION: The kingdom of God has come to us, now is come the kingdom of our Lord, and the kingdom of God is near. Blessed is everyone who will eat bread in the kingdom of God. Everything is possible for him who believes. God is our strength and through Him we will encourage the timid, and help the weak. With God's mercy we shall go into all the world and preach the good news of gospel; and proclaim in His name about repentance for forgiveness of sins to all nations. We pray for salvation, healing and redemption in His name Jesus Christ. By faith in love and hope, we press on toward the goal according to His plan. For, nothing is impossible with God. mUic];ehLKm];TL,wrL.JPL;sw]:n}.Et,pQn]w}.tL,hw];yw].eSmI;w}.yU,mUiw]:lQw]El:tuik].mL;sm]nL,"kUn];ekL.etkin]Kw]:mun];nG];mUic];ehLKm];JPL;sw]:n}.mI;tac];lImac],klL,kU:ekL."tL,ekL.yum],n}.An],lG]ekL:pQn]l}:kU:mQw];yw]."JPL;sw]:pQn]AQn]hqc];hw];El:lUv]:mn];sw]:eShw];etpn]hqc];tI:ekL.sG]lQk].sG]ng}.eSEl:sg}:Tqm]ekL.hqc];AUn]:nuc];sG]Kw]"lUv]:krunL,JPL;sw]:eShw];etkGL,nG];km];PL,elL;kn}.kU:tI:'ehL;lat]:Kaw],lIkGam];JtL;sw]:'El:hgc].eSL,lgc]:ngc],twa},sG]Kuin];tL,l}:An]pg},wac];KGac].pn]nn].'tI:kUn];kU:mUic];kU:sUiw].KUiw];lUv]:suiw]:sw]:ey,Su"hw];SU;tgc];nG];suiw]:sw]:ey,SuKrit]:Ek,Kzt]'yUt];yL'T},Tut],pUt];pg},pn]lgt]:lqw];"lUv]:tac];yum],'tac];hk].'tac];muc]:mgc];eShw];suin],hqc];tuic]:Kuin]:nL:kGL,sU;yUic];ma}sgm];wac];Pqn]sw]:"pUiw]:wL:epL;pL;TL,wrL.JPL;sw]:n}.An]Am],pQn]l}:Am],mI;"

Truth and Trust

There are two “T”s, the (T&T), which always stay, go and come together and they can never be separated. One “T” stands for the “Truth” and the other is for the “Trust”. If there is the truth there is trust; and if there’s no truth there will be no trust. Lack of trust is a result of lack of the truth.

SAUL ANOINTED
Israel’s First King

Tall, handsome Saul seemed to be a noble young man of the tribe of Benjamin. He lived during the time when the Israelites were demanding a king. His father Kish was rich and very powerful.
One day some of their donkeys strayed away, so Kish sent Saul with a servant to find them. After they had traveled far and searched a long time, Saul was ready to give up. He said to the servant, “Let us go home or my father will worry about us.”
Then the servant said, “In the next city lives a prophet named Samuel whose words always come true. Perhaps he can tell us where to find the donkeys.”
While trudging up the hill toward the city, some young maidens told them that the prophet had arrived there that day. At the city gate they met Samuel, but they did not realize who it was. Saul asked, “Can you tell me where the prophet’s house is?”
Samuel answered, “I am the prophet. Come with me because tonight we are having an offering and a feast as a sacrifice to the Lord. Do not worry about the lost donkeys, because they have been found.” That night at the feast, Saul was honored as a special guest.
The next morning Samuel took a vial of oil and anointed Saul, saying, “The Lord has anointed you to be king over Israel. Go now and do whatever God tells you to do.”
As Saul turned to leave, God gave him a new heart. The Spirit of the Lord blessed Saul with a true desire to live unselfishly for others and to serve God faithfully.
Some time later Samuel called together all the people of Israel. It was a public meeting to crown Saul as Israel’s first king.
In this way, God brought to pass His plan for Saul’s life. It took him from searching for his father’s lost donkeys to ruling Israel and being their king.

SAMUEL
A Boy Lent to God
A new judge named Eli ruled Israel. He was also the priest at the tabernacle, where the people came to worship. About fifteen miles from the tabernacle lived a man named Elkanah. He had two wives, as many men did at that time. One of these wives had children, but the other wife, Hannah, had no child.
Hannah poured out her heart to the Lord in prayer, “O Lord, if You will give me a son, I will give him to You.”
The Lord heard Hannah’s prayer and gave her a little boy. She called him Samuel, which means “asked of God.” While Samuel was still a child, Hannah brought him to Eli the priest and said, “My lord, I am the woman who came here to pray. I asked God for this child. Let him stay here with you and grow up in God’s house.”
As Samuel grew, he helped Eli in the work of the Lord’s house. He lit the lamps and opened the doors. He prepared the incense and waited on Eli, who was now growing old and was almost blind.
The children of Israel were longing for the time God would again speak to His people. They remembered how He had spoken to Moses, Joshua, and Gideon.
When Samuel became a man, he began to travel among the Israelites as a prophet. He gave God’s Word to the people everywhere. His message was, “If you will come back to the Lord with all your heart and put away the false gods, God will set you free from the Philistines.”
The people obeyed Samuel and got rid of their images of Baal. The next time the Philistines threatened Israel, Samuel prayed. God answered his prayer and struck down the Philistines with a great storm of lightning and thunder.
Samuel lived to lead Israel for many years. The people trusted him, because he ruled wisely in righteousness.

REWARDS FOR RUTH
The Great-Grandmother of King David
When Naomi and Ruth arrived in Bethlehem, Naomi’s former friends were very glad to see her again. It was just at the beginning of barley harvest. Ruth wanted to go out into the fields to gather grain, which the reapers had left for the poor. This grain was to be food for herself and Naomi, for they were very poor. Ruth found herself in the field of Boaz, a relative of Naomi. He was rich and well known.
Boaz came out from the city of Bethlehem to his field. He said to the reapers, “The Lord be with you.”
They answered him, “The Lord bless you.”
Boaz said to the master of his reapers, “Who is this young woman I see gleaning in the field?”
The servant answered, “It is the young woman from Moab who came with Naomi. She asked to glean and has been here since yesterday.”
Boaz said to Ruth, “Listen to me, my daughter. I have heard how true you have been to your mother-in-law Naomi. You left your own people who worship idols and came here to serve the Lord. Stay here with my young women and do not go to any other field. When you are thirsty, go and drink at our water pots.”
Then Ruth bowed to Boaz and thanked him for his kindness.
At the end of barley harvest, Boaz held a feast on the threshing floor. In obedience to Naomi, Ruth went to him and said, “You are a near relative of my husband and his father, Elimelech. Will you not do good to us for his sake?”
When Boaz saw Ruth he loved her. Soon after this he married her. Boaz and Ruth had a son whom they named Obed.
Later Obed had a son Jesse. Jesse was the father of David the king. Many generations later, Jesus the King of kings and Saviour of the world, was born into this family lineage. So Ruth, the young woman of Moab who chose the people and the God of Israel, became the “mother of kings.”
