One thing I’ve noticed is that when you live with an attitude of constant gratitude, not only will you thank God for what He’s done in your life, you start thanking Him for what He will do in the future. You thank Him for opening doors for you. You thank Him for increasing you. You thank Him for bringing the right people into your life. When we say “thank You” to God for the things that are coming, it’s really a declaration of our faith in Him. It’s saying, “God, I’m so sure of Your goodness, I’m so sure that You’re working in my life that I’m going to thank You right now for what You are going to do tomorrow.” Friend, that’s the kind of faith that pleases God. He wants us to trust in His goodness and believe that He is a Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. He delights in seeing our faith. He delights in an attitude of gratitude. Today, let your faith say thank you. Praise Him throughout the day with an attitude of joy and expect to see His goodness in every area of your life!

Dead to Sin, Alive in Christ

¹What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? ²By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? ³Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? ⁴We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

“Nai Mu”  88, (1925 – November 18, 2013)

“Mu” the beloved mother of  Nu and grandma of 7 and great grandma of 6, passed away on November 18^th and her funeral date is going to be on November 22, 2013 at 12:30pm (Myanmar local Time) at the cemetery in Kun Hing, Shan state, Myanmar.

 “Mu” a widow of (Khun Kham Hleng) is mother of  Nang Hseng Noan, (Sai Maung Nyunt) and Nangshwe N Teekham. She’s kind, patient, flexible and slow to anger. She was a good listener and a hard working widow to taking care of her teenage son and daughter. As lovely mom, grandma and great grandma, she lived and left with a good example.

We appreciate and thank you for your prayer of comfort and peace to her families and friends left behind in Shan state, Myanmar and our Teekham family in the U.S. Thank you so much for praying with us for everything and may God bless each and every one of you.
